Tersiguel’s was a highly recommended spot from several locals. So, it was opted to take a good friend, whose origin is French, and who was visiting Maryland to this French Country restaurant. The three of us who attended the meal thought the service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable with cuisine choices and the wine list. It was even noticed that the chef took time out to speak with some of the patrons adding a personal touch and making those visited feeling even more welcome. The wine list was extensive offering pages of French and U.S. wines. The salads were fresh and crisp. Our original wine selection was not in the cellar and our waiter recommended a comparable one, which was fine. The seafood sampler appetizer was average with the calamari being a bit tough. The salmon was requested to be rare and turned out to be a bit overcooked. The filet mignon and chicken were not tender nor the best cuts of meat. Overall, not the experience we were anticipating. With all of the compliments we received from friends and family, perhaps it was just an off night for Tersiguel’s.
